Personal history and philosophy
I have been a passionate amateur photographer for the last six years and quickly developed my skills in digital photography. Being an astronomer, I did not have a hard time to grasp all the technical details of cameras, exposure and the limitations of digital sensors.
Although I know and like the technicalities around photography, I agree with the notion that the camera is not important for the quality of the pictures taken. The artistic sense and truly seeing a picture before you take it are goals that I pursue.
If you want to see more pictures than the small selection above, have a look into my archive. I do not usually take assignments, but if you have an interesting project, feel free to contact me.
